The June 30th release of PAR Cloud brings meaningful improvements across PAR Client, PAR Vision, and PAR Charge. You'll find smarter filtering and search experiences, more accurate reporting data, and several enhancements that give administrators greater control. We've also resolved a number of issues to ensure a smoother, more reliable experience across the platform.
What's New
Persistent Report Filter Selections
PAR Vision now remembers your filter selections between report sessions, so you no longer have to reconfigure your preferences each time you run a report. Your field choices are automatically restored the next time you open the same report, saving you time and reducing repetitive setup.
Total Line Counts in Order Search
You can now see a total line count directly within Order Search results in PAR Client. This at-a-glance summary makes it easier to quickly assess order size without manually counting individual lines.
Total Line Counts in Receiving
PAR Client now displays a total line count on Receiving screens, giving you a clear picture of how many lines are included in each receiving transaction. This helps streamline the receiving process and reduces the chance of missed items.
Type-Ahead Search in PAR Charge Locations
When selecting an initial location in PAR Charge, you can now type directly to search for and find your location instead of scrolling through a full list. This makes the location selection process faster, especially in environments with large numbers of locations.
Type-Ahead Filters in PAR Vision Reports
Item Number, Location, and Replenishment Source filter fields across many PAR Vision reports now support manual typing to quickly find what you're looking for. This significantly speeds up report configuration and makes filtering more intuitive.
Order Number Added to Activity Detail
The Activity Detail view in PAR Vision now includes the associated order number, giving you better traceability when reviewing activity history. You can more easily connect activity records back to specific orders without leaving the view.
Scanning History Report Now Accessible
The Scanning History report has been added to the Activity/History section of PAR Vision as a clickable report, making it easier to discover and navigate to. You no longer need to search for it outside of its natural context in the reporting hierarchy.
Scanning History Includes PAR Client Activity
The PAR Vision Scanning History report now reflects reconciliations and requisitions that were performed in PAR Client, giving you a complete and unified view of scanning activity across the platform. Previously, actions taken in PAR Client were missing from this report.
Admin-Only Item Location Delete Controls
The ability to delete or undelete Item Locations in PAR Client is now restricted to administrators, helping protect data integrity and prevent accidental changes. Administrators can also now select multiple records at once to delete or undelete them in bulk, streamlining location management.
Cleaner Location Items Export
The bin Label ID field has been removed from the Location Items export in PAR Vision to reduce unnecessary data and simplify the output. Your exported files will now be cleaner and easier to work with in downstream workflows.
Bug Fixes
Login Failure After Username Change
This release fixes an issue where users were unable to sign into PAR Client after their username was changed. Affected users can now log in successfully following a username update without any additional intervention.
Incorrect Quantity on Hand in Location Items
The Location Items report in PAR Vision was displaying incorrect Quantity on Hand values for auto-tracked locations that have a secondary bin. We've corrected the calculation so the report now reflects accurate on-hand quantities.
Scale Weight Doubling in Location Items
PAR Vision was incorrectly doubling scale weight values on the Location Items report when a secondary bin was present. This fix ensures scale weights are reported accurately regardless of bin configuration.
Incorrect Per Values in Location Items
The Location Items report was displaying incorrect Per values in certain scenarios. This has been corrected so the report now shows the accurate Per value for each location item.
Report Scrolling Issues Resolved
Scrolling was not functioning correctly across multiple PAR Vision reports, making it difficult to navigate through longer result sets. This release restores smooth and consistent scrolling behavior throughout the reporting interface.
PAR 360 Label Scanning in PAR Charge
PAR 360 labels were not scanning correctly into PAR Charge during dispenses, disrupting the dispensing workflow. This fix ensures PAR 360 labels scan reliably so dispensing can proceed without interruption.
Batch Start Error Locking Accounts
A bug in PAR Charge caused default batch start options to trigger an error that could lock user accounts. This release resolves the error so batch processing starts correctly and accounts are no longer affected.
Scanning History Shows Correct Users
The Scanning History report in PAR Vision was displaying the reconciliation user and timestamp in place of the requisition user and timestamp. This has been corrected so each record now accurately reflects the user and time associated with the requisition.
Security Group Location Restrictions Enforced
Security groups in PAR Charge were not correctly applying location-based access restrictions, potentially allowing users to access locations outside their permitted scope. This fix ensures that location restrictions defined in security groups are properly enforced.
