June 30, 2026
The June 30th release of PAR 360 introduces a powerful new Tasking system that lets supervisors create, schedule, and manage tasks directly from the Control Tower while keeping mobile teams instantly informed and in sync. We've also expanded Nurse Call Down capabilities, enhanced geolocation tracking for deeper operational insights, and strengthened Power BI reporting pipelines for more reliable analytics. Rounding out the release are meaningful usability improvements and a wave of stability fixes across both desktop and mobile experiences.
What's New
New Tasking System for Operations
You can now create and assign one-time tasks directly from the Control Tower, with flexible options for location, employee selection, and custom instructions. This makes it easy to dispatch ad-hoc work to staff in real time without relying on predefined workflows. Supervisors have full visibility into task status from creation through completion.
Automated Scheduled Task Creation
You can now define recurring tasks with configurable locations, frequencies, assigned employees, and instructions so that work is generated and assigned automatically on a set cadence. This eliminates the need to manually re-create routine assignments and ensures consistent task coverage across your facility. Background processing keeps scheduled tasks running reliably without any manual intervention.
Real-Time Mobile Task Alerts
Mobile users now receive instant alerts when new tasks are created on desktop, allowing them to review, accept, decline, and complete assignments directly from their mobile device. This keeps field staff connected to operational priorities no matter what else they're working on. The full task management flow — including one-time and scheduled tasks — is available seamlessly from mobile.
Expanded Nurse Call Down for All Item Types
Supply technicians can now raise call-down requests for all item types, including untracked items, making it easier to fulfill supply requests across the facility regardless of how an item is catalogued. The mobile workflow has also been updated so nurses can quickly request stocked products by scanning a bin QR code, reducing manual data entry. These enhancements streamline the entire call-down process from request to fulfillment.
Enhanced Geolocation Tracking with Route Context
User geolocation and activity data is now linked to specific routes, locations, and facilities, giving operations managers a much clearer picture of where staff performed activities and how those actions map to operational workflows. This richer context supports more accurate reporting, auditing, and process optimization. Power BI Scanning and Put Away tracking reports have been updated to reflect this new structure.
Strengthened Power BI Reporting Pipelines
We've reestablished and validated the Power BI data pipelines to restore consistent, reliable delivery of analytics and reporting. New database views now support Day-at-a-Glance saved queries and the composite analytics model, ensuring your reports load accurately and reflect the latest operational data. These improvements lay a more stable foundation for ongoing reporting enhancements.
Updated Overstock Icon Design
The Overstock icon has been refreshed across the left navigation menu and the Control Tower tile to align with the latest approved visual design. This keeps the interface consistent and polished throughout the application.
Bug Fixes
Scanning Status Tile Turns Green Correctly
This release fixes an issue where a location's Scanning Status tile would not turn green when Finish Scanning was selected if the scan percentage had not yet reached 100%. The tile now correctly reflects a green completed state as soon as Finish Scanning is triggered, regardless of scan coverage. This ensures the status display accurately matches the action taken.
Department Edit No Longer Accumulates Locations
When editing departments within a facility, the Locations section no longer incorrectly carries over locations from previously selected departments. Switching between departments in edit mode now displays only the locations that belong to the currently selected department. This prevents confusion and ensures accurate department configuration.
Package Delivery Tile Navigates Correctly
Clicking the Package Delivery tile in the Control Tower now correctly opens the Package Delivery page instead of a blank screen. This fix restores reliable one-click navigation to the Package Delivery workflow from the Control Tower.
Mobile Users Now Show Online Status on Desktop
A regression that caused mobile users to appear offline on desktop — even after successfully logging into PAR 360 Mobile — has been resolved. Online status now accurately reflects when a user is active on mobile, and check-ins on mobile are properly reflected in the desktop Team Overview tile. Users can once again be selected and assigned to call-down requests as expected.
Edit User Dialog Displays as Proper Modal
The Edit User dialog in Manage Users now appears as a correctly layered modal overlay instead of improperly embedding itself within the user list. This restores clear visibility of the edit form and prevents the overlapping display that made it difficult to interact with user records.
Call Down Notifications Open Correct Detail Pages
Opening a call-down notification from the notification panel or drilling into counts from Control Tower filters no longer results in a blank page. Detail pages now load as expected, giving users immediate access to the information they need to act on call-down requests.
Cancelled Scans No Longer Count as Complete
A defect where cancelling an item scan still marked it as successfully scanned — and incorrectly affected route completion percentages — has been fixed. Cancelled scan actions are now properly disregarded, ensuring route completion data accurately reflects only confirmed scans.
Put Away SKUs Load Reliably on Mobile
SKUs now load correctly when a mobile user expands a location in the Put Away flow. Previously, the SKU list would fail to appear when tapping the dropdown arrow on assigned locations, blocking users from completing put-away tasks.
Put Away Flow Returns to Correct Screen
After completing put-away for a location by marking an item as missing, the mobile app now correctly returns users to the Assigned Put Away list instead of redirecting them back to the Begin Putaway screen. This keeps users in the right place in the workflow and reduces unnecessary navigation.
Today's Activity Overview Shows Check-In Actions
Check-in, check-out, break, and end-break activities now appear correctly in the Today's Activity Overview section on PAR 360 Mobile. Previously, these actions were performed successfully but did not display in the activity log, leaving users with a blank list.
Put Away Routes Show Accurate Locations
Put-away routes no longer display duplicate locations or incorrect route line counts when rooms are merged into a single route. Location lists now reflect the correct, deduplicated set of stops for a given route.
Faster Put Away Performance on Mobile
We've significantly improved the performance of Put Away operations on mobile, reducing delays when loading and processing put-away data. Users who work through locations quickly will no longer encounter slowdowns or system interruptions.
Overstock Drop-Off Confirmation Works Correctly
An authorization error that prevented users from confirming an Overstock drop-off has been resolved. The Overstock confirmation flow now completes successfully without returning an unauthorized error.
Task Note Save Confirmation Now Appears
Mobile users who add or edit notes on a task and save will now see a confirmation notification as expected. This fix ensures users receive clear feedback that their notes have been saved successfully.
